Some vaccine-preventable diseases can spread before a pet ever shows signs of illness.

That is why vaccines are designed to protect pets before exposure happens, not after.

Keeping your pet current on recommended vaccines helps protect them from serious diseases and helps reduce the spread of illness within communities and between housemates.

This National Immunization Awareness Month, we're highlighting the power of prevention. A simple vaccine appointment today can help support your pet's health for years to come.

Not sure if your pet is due? Our team is happy to review their records and answer any questions.

🐾 Prevention starts before symptoms appear.

July temperatures can be brutal for our furry friends. Dehydration isn't just uncomfortable; it can be dangerous.

Here's what to watch for:

✓ Fresh water available at all times (refill bowls twice daily in hot weather)
✓ Know the signs: excessive panting, lethargy, dry gums
✓ Limit outdoor activity during peak heat (10 AM - 4 PM)
✓ Never leave pets in parked cars—even with windows cracked

Pro tip: Offer water before, during, and after playtime. Consider a fountain for pets who love running water!

When in doubt about heat-related illness, call us immediately.

Yep, you read that right Dr DeWolf and his Clinic Manager are taking some vacation time. Dr DeWolf and his wife will be visiting the grand baby. And well Terri, we imagine she will be spending most of her time working on something , as always. For now we have your favorite side kick Brittany back in the office on limited hours to guide Mackenzie. Lauren will be there making sure all those fur babies receive lots of cuddles as always. ❤️🐕🐈❤️

Does your cat do this? 😂🐱

The post-poop zoomies are actually caused by the vagus nerve, which runs near the colon and triggers a sudden rush of energy.

So your cat is not crazy... or maybe they are a little. 😉

Your pet’s smile is more than just cute, it’s essential to their overall pet wellness 🦷🐾

Dental disease can affect up to 90% of pets over age 4 and may lead to serious issues like heart, kidney, and liver disease if untreated.

At home, support dental care by brushing with pet-safe toothpaste, offering dental chews or toys, and checking for signs like bad breath, red gums, or trouble eating. These small steps make a big impact on your pet’s health and comfort.

Stay proactive with preventive care and schedule a dental exam with our veterinary care team to keep your pet healthy from nose to tail 💙
