Here is Archie out with us in an area riddled with distractions and stimulation. There were people all over the place, dogs (some of them barking), and golf carts driving around. Archie was relaxed and confident. That was achieved in big part due to his exposure to different environments where, including the one he was in while that picture was taken.

Exposure over socialization- I would rather a dog be neutral to people, dogs, and distractions than a dog who wants to pull to or bark at every person or dog he sees while out and about.

Cooper’s leash manners are progressing well. Friday, when I hooked him up to the leash, he sat back and pulled against me. Now he is learning to enjoy taking a walk.

Cooper learning how to come into the heel position. This is his second session. This is the first step of teaching him to walk properly on leash. This little guy is still young and gets distracted fairly easy so all of our sessions are short, no more than about 7 mins.
