Meet this handsome fella named Aloe! He came in early September 2026 and is awaiting his adoption day. With new place, people Aloe felt unsure of shelter life and with some time and love from staff and volunteers he's settling in nicely. He is 3 years old and is up to date on his vaccinations does not get along with male dogs (he hasn't been altered yet) but would love a person or family to call his own. With time to adjust and settle in he will thrive with a family in a home. Visit with Aloe! 🐶🐾🩵

Tasha!! 🐶🐾🩷
This cutie came into the shelter on April 6, 2026 when her owner could no longer care for her. She is 4 years 6 months old, current on shots, and so ready for her "gotcha day to come"! She has gotten kennel stress but once outside and given time to release her pinned up energy she settles nicely and loves to share ALL the sweet Tasha kisses with you. She met some older children and loved them but does get "jumpy" when excited so probably no kids under 6. She also needs to be the only pet in the home and a family that can keep her safe (away from other pets) when outside. Tasha is a great sized girlie with a heart bursting with love to share just needs someone to give her a chance. Please open up your heart and home to Tasha!! Please take a second and share her with your friends and help her find her happily ever after! 🐶🐾🩷

Meet this sweetie named Daisy Mae! She came into the shelter July 6, 2026 and has been patiently waiting for her lucky "gotcha day" to come. She is 2 years 9 months old, current on shots, spayed and all ready for the next happy chapter to begin. She needs a home without other pets but she will be all the love you need. She loves playing fetch with a toy but will snuggle up for the most body rubs and loving too. Just a happy girl who deserves a loving home. Stop by for a visit with Daisy Mae at the Carteret County Humane Society in Newport, NC weekdays 10-1, 2-5 and Saturdays 10-4. 🌼 🐶🐾💜
