The Groom Room is a professional dog grooming salon located in the heart of Newport at 68 Broadway. With over 15 years of experience, our goal as a family-owned salon is to make your animals feel as a part of our family! With a wide-open floor plan, we pride ourselves in being trained in body language to give your dogs a stress-free experience to socialize, when possible, while enjoying their spa

adventure. We are also all First Aid certified. Our goal is to obtain open communication with our clients to provide the best fitted care for your fur baby's needs. Using top quality products to provide a unique specialized groom for each of our fur friends.

Happy anniversary to us!!!!
12 years ago, we opened our doors with only a dream. I had no idea how to run a business. I just knew I had to try. I wanted a place that dogs could go to feel safe, to be safe, to feel and be loved. A place that is stress -free. A place that was nothing like corporate. A place that you could drop off your dog to our family and know that we would care for them like they were our own. A place where quality was more important than quantity. Where dogs needing medication could go.
We have seen families go from a single person to a huge family. We have had military families that we have gotten so close to that have eventually had to move but stay in touch. We have seen puppies come in nervous for their first groom and then in the blink of an eye they are elderly and like our own. We have had dogs so nervous to get their nails done that the vet recommends them to us and we are able to do it safely. Dogs that we only get to see in the summer that we look forward to seeing every year. So many clients that are family.
These are all the reasons that keep us going every single day. We love our “job”. We love the animals, and we love, most of , the people. 😂
My dream became my reality and I am beyond thankful. Dan, Kaelie, Chace and I thank each and every one of you for your love and support, we wouldn’t be where we are today without you.
