With things being slower here at the rattery but busy with trying to get moved, we’ve been spending a lot of time with our other 4 legged critters. I’m going to share a little bit of them while we work on getting life back in order.

This big guy here is Tae. A 3 year old Mal X with the biggest personality. He has been a wonderful addition into the family and I am beyond thankful that his last owner trusted me with him. We have a bit of a long road ahead of us while we continue to finish out his training but he has come such a long way already and I couldn’t be more proud of him. 🥰

Alright everyone, this will be a bit of a lengthy post so please bear with me.

After the last of our available babies make their way to their new homes, I will be taking a step back from breeding for a bit. I have a lot going on in my personal life right now and I don’t think it’s right for me to continue this journey at this time as my mind is not in the right place to do so. Majority of my current stock will be heading to another breeder in the area so they will continue to be worked with. If the breeder wants to share her journey with them, that will be up to her entirely.

This decision has not been made lightly and it’s a very difficult one to come to terms with. It’s been a hard last few days but I’m working on getting caught up with everything. I take pride in my work and how far I’ve come since starting this journey and I look forward to coming back one day. I want to thank each and everyone of you all that have supported the rattery and made all of this possible. I want to give a HUGE thank you to everyone that has gotten babies and shared updates with me as it always brings a smile to my face. I couldn’t be where I am in all of this if it wasn’t for all of you so again, thank you.

I will be keeping the page active and will post pictures of babies that I’ve had in the past, personal pets, or if anyone that has gotten ratties from me would like to share updates, that would be very much appreciated! Until then, this is not a goodbye, but simply a see you later. 🥰

THOM Catan x THOM Checkers litter!

If you’ve been following the page for a while, you’ll know that the Marble line I brought in a few years ago has struggled with something called cryptorchidism. It only affects the boys as it causes them to retain one if not both of their testicles. We’ve had 3 out of 4 litters from our Marble line girls and unfortunately, it has struck again. This litter is part of the Marble line and most of if not all of this litter will be available due to them being more likely to produce more cryptorchids and that is what we are trying to avoid. We want healthy little boys that won’t have potential health issues later in life.

We have 4 girls and 3 boys in this litter. I know that I will be keeping back one of the boys due to cryptorchidism and potentially one of the girls in case I need to rework the line a little to make more progress. The boys will be able to be paired with the remaining boys that are available from the THOM Catan x THOM Zebra Cake litter which I will be getting pictures of soon. I do have another Marble line litter on the way and they could be paired up with any of them as well.

Now, with all of that being said, pricing will be different for these babies than what is listed in my automated message due to needing to ensure the integrity of the line due to the years of work that has gone into it.
