🚨 Help us support our furry friends AND the people that care for them! 🚨

We’re rescuing animals from Asheville Humane Society with the help of BISSELL Pet Foundation, but we also want to support the amazing people on the ground who have been caring for them despite the damage from Hurricane Helene.

➡️ We’re collecting emergency donations to take with us on our transport! Here’s a list of things that would be most helpful for us to bring:

•Feminine products
•Diapers
•Paper towels
•Non-perishable foods (no can opener required)
•Powdered baby formula
•Trash bags
•Baby wipes

We can’t bring heavy items like water (we’re flying in!), but anything you can contribute will help make a huge difference. 🙌

Please drop items off BEFORE 10 AM on Monday, September 30th—you can stop by any time this weekend!

Let’s rally together to support both the animals of Asheville and the heroes caring for them! If you aren't able to donate but still want to help, please share this post. THANK YOU!

🚨 URGENT: Asheville Humane Society needs our help! 🚨

The catastrophic damage from Hurricane Helene has overwhelmed the Asheville Humane Society, and countless animals are in desperate need of safety. We’re partnering with BISSELL Pet Foundation to rescue as many pets as possible, but we can’t do it without your help!

We need emergency fosters to help us take in these animals! If you’ve never fostered before, that’s okay! Fostering is completely free—Forsyth Humane Society will provide you with all of the supplies you might need to help care for one of these animals. Every foster home we can secure is another life we can save! 🐾❤️

If you can step up to help us out, please email [email protected] with the subject line “Hurricane Helene Foster”, or check forsythhumane.org/foster for incoming animals. THANK YOU for your willingness to help and your dedication to animals in need. Please share this post to help us reach as many fosters as possible!
