If you're wanting polish, please do your research. Polish need extra care. They can't be left in an open run: (1) They can't see predators coming at them from above. (2) They can't survive getting their crests wet in the winter months, not having a roof of some kind over them. They'll freeze to death. They are not like normal chickens. (3) They may need supplemental heat to survive the coldest winter months. They are not fat like other breeds. They can't stay as warm as they do because their body mass is lower. Please be aware of these facts, esp for younger polish. I just read on a chicken site where ppl were saying to a polish owner that their chickens sleep in the trees in the winter & that they don't need extra help. Those chickens are NOT polish! I reserve the right to make sure my chicks go to the best homes available. That being said: If you get pullets from me, I expect each one to be treated like the "Princess" that they are! 💖😂
