Dharma & Greg are just about ready. These cuties are being fostered by FURR and will be adopted through Ruff Road Pet Rescue.
Greg: Grey male
Super adventurous. Loves to snuggle both alone and with others. He is vocal and makes sure you know what he wants. Likes to be held and relax on your lap. Stocky boy! Has been tested with dogs and did great.
Dharma: Tabby & white female
Playful and adorable! She has the softest coat too. She is very sweet and social. Not such a fan of being held, but she will let you. She loves small toys that she can carry around in her mouth.has been tested with dogs ans did great.

Endora is searching for her furrever home. She is a ton of fun, playful, curious and has such soft bunny like fur. And who doesn't love a floofy tail! Does well with others and would fit great in most home environments.

Vincent {Van Goh} was trapped at a colony cat site and we could immediately tell something was special about him. Vincent was neutered and recieved a partial amputation of his right ear he needed due to previous injury. Vincent needed to recieve some extra TLC before being released and it was during this time we realized he's an absolute sweetheart and is not a feral colony cat at all!

Vincent is about 4 months old and is shy at first but eager to explore new spaces and meet new faces! He gets along great with other cats and is incredibly well-mannered and gentle. He also has a unique "blink" where his third eyelid can be seen, but the vet doesn't tink this is an issue 😉

Marina is ready to meet her FURRever family! Marina is a petite young female who didn't have the easiest start in life. Because of this, she is not a candidate for a "meet-n-greet", and needs a patient adopter who will give her a bit of time to trust her new human caregiver(s).

Marina has made incredible strides in just a few weeks with her foster. She is clearly an air biscuit expert 👩‍🍳 and loves to get chatty and chirp at you! Marina gets along with other cats and loves to explore, play, and enjoy wet food 😋

This stretching house panther is Tink aka "Tipsy" and she is ready to find her FURRever family! Here’s a word from her foster mom:

"She is a beautiful soul and is learning to trust again. She has mild CH that does not affect her day-to-day life other than a bit of a wobbly walking at times. She loves carrying her ball around and will even play fetch sometimes. She can be a little sassy with other cats but perhaps would adapt to feline friends in time. She is incredibly shy at first but so very loving when she trusts. She’s my first foster and is an absolute angel."

Great information! Save this post! Kitten season is here, but the overwhelming majority of kittens don't need to be "saved".

Look into TVNR to help control the unhoused cat population and prevent kittens in the first place!

🚨 Found Kittens? Don’t Kit-Nap! 🐾

If you come across kittens in Newport News, Hampton, Yorktown, or Poquoson, take a moment before intervening.

Here’s what you need to know:

🕒 Wait and observe – Mom may be off feeding herself. Give it a few hours to see if she returns.
🌡️ Kittens under 4 weeks can’t regulate their own body temperature and need a heat source—ideally their mother.
🍼 Unweaned kittens need to be fed every 2–4 hours depending on age, and must have mother’s milk or kitten formula—never cow’s milk.
🚗 If kittens must be moved, make sure to take mom too, especially if going to a shelter.
