Westside Animal Hospital Dr. Suzy has over 25 years of experience as both a small animal and an equine veterinarian. Her B.S.

is from UC Davis (1981) and her DVM is from Tuskegee University (1985). Her specialty (and area of research interest) is animal behavior. Westside Animal Hospital began operating in its new facility on Highway 33 and Kern Street on January 26 of 2009. Our business had already been serving Newman for 13 years at its previous location on Main Street. Our new facility features an open concept with p

lenty of windows and natural light to offer high visibility for owners and patients. Our hospital contains a spacious lobby, 3 exam rooms, a digital radiograph machine, an in-house laboratory, and a surgical room equipped with a carbon dioxide laser (which has replaced the scalpel as our choice surgical instrument). While we love our state-of-the-art facility, we are most proud of the patient experience here at Westside Animal Hospital. With a slow approach and trust-building practices, our goal is to offer both you and your pet the best veterinary care possible.
