Bliss Veterinary Services is a family oriented practice that caters to both large and companion animals. Bliss, D.V.M. who is a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bliss completed her clinical year at The Ohio State Univeristy in May 2011. Dr. Bliss and Her husband, Timothy Sparks operate a beef cow-calf operation as well as assist operation of the family owned Patch of

Bliss Equestrian Center. Dr. Bliss prides herself on being compassionate about the medical treatment and overall well-being of all animals. Dr. Bliss understands the importance of both family and community and strives to institute both in her practice. The mission of Bliss Veterinary Services is to provide compassionate, above standard medical care to all of it's patients.

Dr Sara and Dr Megan performed an umbilical hernia repair and castration on a foal today at the owners farm. Dr. Sara even gave the foal a mani-pedi while he was waking up and then we got to have Baby Todd adventures and got ice cream! What a fantastic way to start the week! ♥️🥰

"Come to me, all who are weary"

We are tired in this life, not from working too many hours. Not from lack of sleep. But because we carry burdens that we were never meant to carry. We weren't meant to suffer loss and experience grief. We weren't meant to experience guilt from the past or fear the future. We weren't meant to worry about pleasing other people. We weren't meant for the stress of keeping up with society.

But there is someone who literally understands everything about us. Understands what it's like to experience birth through death. Understands grief, sorrow, happiness, pain, despair. Jesus is the one person who actually understands what we are going through. In a world full of humans that we feel like we can't relate to, Jesus can relate to us 💯.
Jesus can't take away our problems in this life. That was never the point. But he can help to give us peace in dealing with our problems. Jesus says that we are to carry his yoke and burden. As they are light. The yoke and burden we bring upon ourselves are heavier than we can bear.
All we ever want is to know we are seen, heard, and understood, right? Then we can face what we are up against. We can live. And then we can die. We can die with the promise of knowing that we are going to love again. As Jesus did. As Jesus does. It's his promise and it is real.
Watching loved ones suffer and then die is a humbling experience that takes one on a journey through the roller coaster of grief that you never wanted to ride on. One thing I will say is that I have seen faith stronger than I ever thought possible on the faces of those I've watched die.
I pray for that faith. And for that strength. And that peace.
I witnessed this again just recently with a family member. I will forever be humbled and in awe of my Brother-in-laws faith and strength in his final hours.
I pray for peace for everyone of you and that you would find comfort in knowing that when you feel alone and misunderstood, that there will always be one person who gets you. And has your back. And loves you unconditionally. Jesus.

Using laser therapy to treat swelling and infection of the mouth in a ball python. These attachments help us deliver the light therapy to hard to reach areas of animals ears, noses, throats, and more!
