Remember Teddy?

Teddy came to me after repeatedly attacking Rocky the dog he lives with (see video)

The first clip ended with Rocky getting a hole in his neck...

So when Teddy came to me, the goal was figuring out why he was struggling around other dogs in the first place - not just obedience.

We worked on slowing him down, regulating his arousal, building confidence, and giving him opportunities to safely coexist and communicate with other dogs.

Essentially, teaching Teddy how to be a dog again.

And now Teddy is home.

He and Rocky are living together peacefully, but that doesn’t mean the work suddenly stops.

Training like this isn’t about flipping a switch and calling a dog “fixed”

It’s about giving both the dog and the owner a foundation they can continue building on.

Teddy returned home, and this is what his mom had to say... (see review screenshot)

From being an aggressive dog that bit their other dog AND husband several times, to now, a calm dog that is happy to just hang out with the family

A lot of people put up with aggression, until it becomes to much, and give up on the dog

Many of them go to cheap trainers hoping for a miracle

But these guys came to me

Because we put the dog's wellbeing first, and help them overcome the challenges they're facing in a way that speaks the dog's language

And gives them the structure and clarity on how to exist in the world around them

Without fear
With reactivity
Without aggression

Reunited with these 2 after they came through our puppy training program

They are living proof of what happens when you establish the proper foundations early on

Both have grown into incredibly well-mannered adult dogs

Super proud of both of these guys 😎

WARNING: This may be loud

This is Teddy

A doodle who was brought to me after his owners were dealing with aggressive outbursts like the one you see here

They were frustrated, confused by the random nature of his behavior, and at a loss with what to do

Fast forward less than 2 weeks and he's already co-existing with other dogs, and learning how to be a dog in general

Super happy for Teddy, and proud of how far we've gotten so far

Every dog owner wants obedience.

But obedience isn't where we'd start.

Before we ask a dog to sit, down, heel or recall, we want them asking one question:

"How do I keep this game going?"

That's the difference.

A dog that's only working for food is making a transaction.

A dog that's working through engagement is building a relationship.

Play isn't just exercise. It's where we teach impulse control. It's where we create cooperation. It's where we become more valuable than the environment.

When your dog sees you as the source of the best game in the world, paying attention stops feeling like work.

It becomes their choice.

That's the kind of relationship that makes obedience reliable.

Play with your dog.
Don't just throw the ball.
Teach through it.

Passed with top marks at trial this weekend 🎉

Massively proud of Mav, myself, and everyone that’s helped me achieve this

It’s been a journey with Mav, and a lot of work happening behind the scenes to be able to get to this point

Can only be grateful it’s paid off 🔥

Bear is one of 3 Mals we just got in right now

He tried to bite me, hence I’m wearing the bite suit here

As with most new dogs, the first step is getting them comfortable around me so that we can establish some middle ground for training

Forcing a dog into a training program without building them up first isn’t how we do it here

Our goal is your dog’s comfort, and optimal training results

This is how we achieve that 🔥
