Another super busy week with adoptions at MAD Rescue GA and our hearts are so full! 🩷 We are beyond thankful for our amazing adopters. Every single one of these babies went to the BEST and most fitting homes for them, and that is always our goal.

First, our shy boy Diesel found his forever home! 🐾 Our Pomsky boy now has a huge farm with tons of property to explore and two little girls who are already spoiling him rotten.

Whitney found her perfect forever family too! This tiny girl will be the only dog in the home and will get all the one-on-one attention she could ever want. Whitney is FULL of energy, and her new human sister already loves running and playing with her nonstop. 💕

Whiskey went home with a longtime friend of mine who recently found herself dog-less after being a dog family her entire life. Whiskey immediately attached himself to her and became her little Velcro dog. We truly could not have imagined a better fit for him.

Walker, our sweet Doberman puppy, also hit the jackpot! 🖤 He went to an experienced Doberman home with a husky sister, a stay-at-home mom, and a massive fenced backyard to run and play in.

Rocky — now Rico — our handsome big Frenchie boy, found the most amazing home. He is now living farm life with several dog siblings and a new mom who absolutely adores him. He walked into the home and acted like he had always belonged there. Zero issues, just instant family. ❤️

We truly could not be happier for these babies. It was SO difficult choosing adopters because we received so many amazing applications for them all.

Sadly, our sweet boy Red missed out this week on finding his forever home 😭 and we truly cannot understand why. He is seriously one of the BEST family dogs and loves other animals. If anyone is interested in meeting Red, please reach out so we can set up a meet and greet for this amazing boy.

Moments like these are exactly why we do rescue. Thank you to every adopter, supporter, donor, follower, and member of the MAD Rescue GA family. Because of you, these dogs get the second chances they deserve. 🐶💕

Who wants the absolute best family dog! If so then Red is the man for you. He may be your basic Georgia brown dog, but he has the sweetest temperament around. We rescued Red from our local animal control after being there for OVER A MONTH! We cannot understand why no one snatched him up and took him home. He is only 20 so the perfect size, not small and fragile and not too big! Red is about 2-3 years old and has been fully vetted neutered, given DHPP, Bordatella, Rabies vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, dewormed, and given monthly preventions. He has tested great with the dogs here at the rescue, kids, and cats. He really is a good boy and is very ready to be in his forever home. 🐶 Whitney - ADOPTED– 10 week old Chiweenie mix puppy. She’s only 3 lbs now and expected to stay under 10 lbs full grown.

🐶 Red – The PERFECT family dog! He is about 2 years old, 18 lbs, and amazing with kids, cats, and other dogs. He was so gentle with twin 5-year-old girls at a meet and greet.

🐶 Whiskey - ADOPTED– 5 year old Pomsky, 19 lbs, and looks more Pomeranian than Husky. He’s fun, sweet, low-shedding, and great with dogs, kids, and cats.

🐶 Walker - ADOPTED– 12 week old Doberman puppy, already 30 lbs and growing fast! He is incredibly smart, learning leash walking and sit in just two days. A Velcro boy who needs a Doberman or similar breed-experienced home.

🐶 Hendrick – Gorgeous 1 year old tri-color Collie. House trained, crate trained, playful, fun, and surrendered through no fault of his own.

🐶 Rocky – Our longest resident. He is a 4 year old French Bulldog, 34 lbs, crate trained, toy-loving, good with other rescue dogs, and best with kids over 10.

Everyone meet Whitney, the tiniest little girl with the biggest personality! Whitney is only 10 weeks old and weighs just 3 pounds. She may be small, but don’t let her size fool you — she loves to run, play, explore, and hang out with the other dogs.

We believe Whitney may be a Chiweenie mix, and she will likely stay under 10 pounds full grown.

Whitney has been:

✅ Given age-appropriate vaccines

We have the most amazing male Doberman puppy looking for his forever home! At only 4 months old, this sweet boy is ready to grow up with a family of his own.

He has the sweetest, calmest demeanor and has done great with everyone here — dogs, cats, and even chickens! He is smart, loyal, loving, and already showing all the wonderful qualities Dobermans are known for.

Because Dobermans are such an intelligent and dedicated breed, we would prefer a home with Doberman experience.

He will be fully vetted before adoption:

✨ We have been TERRIBLE at posting our adoption updates lately! ✨

Truthfully, we’ve just been very busy behind the scenes finding the most perfect homes for our rescue babies — and that’s a pretty great problem to have. 🐾❤️

Our sweet beagle girl Daisy (now Lacey) found the most amazing home with a four-legged sister named Paisley. She’s already living the spoiled life and even got to enjoy her very first pup cup recently. 🥹🐶☕

Sugar (now Finn), our adorable little white terrier, is absolutely thriving with his new mom and dad. His new fur sibling was originally more of “dad’s dog,” so mom is SO excited that Finn decided she is his person. 💕 He’s even come by my work since being adopted, and getting to see him so happy and loved has been the best feeling.

Next is Dude. ❤️‍🩹
Dude was our poor Frenchie who suffered the snake bite and had such a long recovery journey. He was honestly one of the hardest dogs for me to let go because we bonded so much while helping him heal. But his new home could not be more perfect. He now has a Merle Frenchie brother named Jack Jack, and they instantly became best friends. Their mom still sends videos of them playing nonstop, and seeing him so happy makes every stressful moment worth it.

Lastly, Diesel found his forever home with an amazing family and lots of property to explore. We know he’s going to love having room to run and sniff. His family completely understands that he’s shy at first and may need time to warm up, and that patience means everything for a dog like Diesel. 🖤

This is why we do rescue.
Watching dogs go from unwanted, abandoned, surrendered, or overlooked… to deeply loved family members makes every hard day worth it. We may only be a short stop in their journey, but getting to help them find their forever homes is the greatest reward.
