“You don’t spell it. You feel it,” replied Pooh. ❤️
And goodness, have we felt it.
For the past 15 years, we have had the privilege of working Farmers Markets—sometimes as many as five in a single season. We’ve baked, packed, loaded, unloaded, sweated, laughed, worried about the weather, gotten up before the sun, and most importantly, shared our love of baking and our little farm with all of you.
Over the years, you have become so much more than customers. You’ve become friends, familiar faces, and part of our story. You’ve celebrated our successes, encouraged us through the hard weeks, and kept coming back for another pie, sweet roll, or treat for your four-legged family member.
So, after a lot of thought, many conversations, and more than a few heartfelt discussions between the two of us, we have made a decision.
This will be our last Farmers Market season.
We will be closing All Things Pie & More. 🥧❤️
Farm House Barkery®️ Fresh Baked Dog Treats will continue, but in a different way. We will continue selling in stores like Animal Care Hospital, Critter Corral, Newbern Hardware, Cordelia’s Market, Pennington’s at the Holidays and online, but we will no longer be doing Farmers Markets or events.
The truth is, we’re tired.
And we think we’ve finally reached the point where it’s okay to say that out loud.
We’d like a little more freedom. We’d like to travel. We’d like to wake up on a Saturday morning and wonder what we would like to do instead of what needs to be baked, packed and loaded.
We’d like to enjoy this next chapter and, quite honestly, act like a retired couple. ❤️
It’s time.
This isn’t an easy goodbye. There is so much love wrapped up in these years, and we will forever be grateful that you allowed us to be a small part of your Saturdays, your family gatherings, your celebrations, and your kitchens.
Thank you for every purchase.
Every kind word.
Every hug.
Every “I’ve been looking for you!”
Every empty pie box and treat bag that made its way home with you.
Most of all, thank you for loving what we loved enough to keep coming back.
We still have three more Main St Dyersburg Farmers Market Saturdays ahead of us, and we intend to soak up every single one.
So come see us. Say hello. Grab one last pie. Give us a hug.
Let’s make these last three market days ones we’ll remember for a very long time.
