Enjoy your slice of cheesy goodness and meet the purr-fect Pepperoni!

Meet Pepperoni! This sweet girl may be a little shy when it comes to new people, but put her with some other kittens and her playful personality really starts to shine! She loves romping, wrestling and chasing toys with her feline friends.

Pepperoni would love a home with little patience, a quiet environment, and plenty of gentle encouragement. A confident kitty companion could also help her continue coming out of her shell and discovering just how wonderful life can be.

She may need a little time to warm up, but once Pepperoni feels comfortable, you’ll get to experience the wonderful reward of watching her confidence grow day by day.

So today, grab a slice of pizza.. and then come meet the other kind of Pepperoni!

An update on Paws’ treatment from Shelter Manager, Pam-

Not only has Paws been making big strides with her balance, her bloodwork has come back showing massive improvement! The treatment is working and we are on the right track.

We’d like to extend a massive thank you to all who have donated, and encourage more of your support as we still have quite a bit of ground to cover.

Romeo is HOME.

After more than a year with us, our longest resident has finally found his forever family.

Romeo came to us in February 2025 from Maui Humane Society 🐶🐱🐹🐢 , and altogether has spent half of his life in shelters. Through all that time, he never stopped being the sweet, loving, goofy boy that everyone here adored.

Our staff and volunteers made sure Romeo’s life at the shelter was filled with as much love and adventure as possible. He came along to the beach, joined us at fundraisers and events, and became a familiar and beloved face to so many people in our community.

Saying goodbye is bittersweet, because we will miss him terribly. But seeing Romeo walk out the door and into his forever home makes every day of waiting worth it.

A huge thank you to Maui Humane Society 🐶🐱🐹🐢 , his foster family in Maui, our staff, volunteers, community, and of course his new family for taking the leap.

We are so incredibly happy for you, Romeo. You waited long enough. Now go enjoy the life you always deserved.

Happy forever, sweet boy.

Join us Saturday, August 22 from 10 AM to 2 PM at Newberg Animal Shelter for our one-day-only Kitten Adoption Event.

For this event, adoption fees are just $200, regularly $250. All adoptable animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and treated for parasites.

Come meet some wonderful kittens and cats who are ready to find their forever homes!
