In what was a highly competitive challenge, the WINNER of the "Low-Light Lines” Photo Challenge" sponsored by the Wilmington Kennel Club is Carissa Faye. Our judges agreed that this was a tough one as every entry was spectacular. WKC's 2026 Training Classes continue with registration for Session 4 now open. Puppy, AKC S.T.A.R Puppy, Obedience and Rally for all levels. Come build the connection with your canine partner and work on your partner becoming a Canine Good Citizen.
Climate controlled, fully matted, well lit training facility. Easy access to I95, Rte 896/301 and Rt1.

Wilmington Kennel Club Celebrates the New Castle County PD K9 Unit's 40th Anniversary at the noon lunch break at Saturday's Dog Show.
Each team will receive an AKC Canine Officer Recognition Certificate and a Rosette commemorating the Unit's 40th Anniversary from the Club.
The Department's first K9 in 1986 was a Female Bloodhound named Jesse. Today there are 10 teams in the K9 Unit.
They also did a demo that included scent work, obedience, and apprehension.
Wilmington Kennel Club also presented the Unit with a donation for new equipment.
The Club has supported our K9 Unit for more than 20years as part of the community give back promise as an AKC Member Club.
