The oatmeal bath that calms itchy, irritated skin on your german shepherd 🐾

Blitz a cup of plain oats into a fine flour, stir it into warm water until it goes milky, and let them soak for ten minutes. Costs about thirty cents.

⚠️ Warm, never hot. And really push it down through that double coat, because the water sits on the surface and won't reach the skin otherwise. Dry them properly afterwards, all the way down.

The bone broth I make for my german shepherds 🦴

Beef marrow bones, a splash of apple cider vinegar, ginger and turmeric. Simmer at least four hours, longer is better.

Collagen and gelatin for the joints, skin and coat. And with a shepherd, hips are the thing you want to be ahead of.

⚠️ Take every bone out before serving. Cooked bones splinter. No onion, no garlic, no salt.
