My heart is broken today. 💔🐾
Today, I had to say goodbye to my beloved Rocky.
I still keep looking at his bed, expecting to see him curled up there. I still listen for the sound of his paws running across the floor. I still catch myself turning around, hoping he's right behind me.
But he's not.
Rocky wasn't just a dog. He was my best friend, my family, my little shadow. He was there for me on my happiest days and my hardest nights. Whenever I felt sad, he would sit beside me as if to say, "I'm here. You're not alone."
The house feels so quiet without him. The emptiness is overwhelming.
People who have never loved a dog may not understand this pain. But those who have know that losing a pet means losing a piece of your heart.
Today, that piece of my heart went to heaven. 🌈🤍
