A little something different from my usual Bernedoodle posts! ❤️

Many of you have followed our program for years because of the way we raise our puppies—the early socialization, confidence building, and the time we put into early potty training. If you’ve ever loved our approach but have wished for a smaller companion, I wanted to introduce you to one of our Cavapoochons.

This little guy is growing up alongside our Bernedoodles and absolutely adores the big dogs, as you can see in this video. 🥹

And if you already have one of our dogs at home and have been thinking about adding a smaller companion to your family someday, a Cavapoochon might be the perfect fit. ❤️

This is Lucky 🍀! Who happens to be obsessed with our bigger dogs lol. He is super friendly and outgoing. He will be about 15 pounds full grown and is absolutely gorgeous with white markings on his chest, head and a little white goatee. Hi everyone!

I wanted to share Fern again because she is honestly one of the friendliest puppies we’ve ever raised. She is incredibly sweet, easygoing, and happiest when she’s following me around or getting cuddles.

She loves playing outside and would do great with children and other animals. She isn’t a pushy personality at all—she’s more of a gentle, go-with-the-flow kind of girl.

Based on her parents and growth so far, I expect her to be around 75 pounds full grown.

Meet Fern 🌿

Fern has been such a joy to raise. She is one of the sweetest, most affectionate puppies in the litter and is happiest when she’s close to her people. She has a gentle, easygoing nature, loves attention, and is always ready to follow along.

She isn’t one of the more vocal puppies which is nice! 😂 Her friendly, loving personality has made her a favorite around our house, and if temperament is your top priority, Fern is one I genuinely feel confident recommending.

Based on her parents and growth so far, I expect her to mature to approximately 75 pounds.

Meet Fern 🌿

Fern is a sweet, gentle girl with a calm and easygoing personality. She’s the kind of puppy who is happy to follow along and take life as it comes. Affectionate, quiet, and naturally submissive, she loves being close to her people and is content to simply be part of whatever is happening around her.

She is doing wonderfully with her potty training and continues to impress us with how quickly she learns. Based on her parents, we expect her to mature to approximately 75–85 pounds.

One area where we truly feel we shine — and what really sets us apart — is how much time and consistency we put into early potty training. 🐾

As our puppies grow, potty training becomes a huge part of our daily routine. By the time they are ready for their new homes, we are taking them outside very consistently throughout the day, often every 1–2 hours, helping them build strong habits and routines before they ever leave us.

We also spend a lot of time introducing early bell training. It is so rewarding watching puppies begin to connect ringing the bell with going outside, and many of our families tell us how much this helps during the transition home.

Of course puppies still need continued guidance and consistency in their new environment, but we truly believe all of this early work makes such a huge difference. Transitioning to a brand new home is a big adjustment for a puppy, and giving them a strong foundation beforehand helps make that process so much smoother for both the puppy and their family.

It takes a tremendous amount of time, patience, and consistency on our end, but it’s something we are incredibly passionate about and very proud of. ❤️

One of the books we always recommend to our puppy families is Before & After Getting Your Puppy by Dr. Ian Dunbar.

We love that it focuses on positive training, early socialization, confidence building, and helping set puppies up for success right from the beginning. It’s an easy read with so much helpful information for both first-time and experienced dog owners.

A well-adjusted puppy starts with consistency, patience, and good guidance — and this book is such a great resource to have at home while raising your new best friend. 🐾

We currently have 6 beautiful Standard F1 Bernedoodle puppies. We also have another family visiting this evening to make their selection so we will update again tomorrow.
