Winslow had a rough start to this life, and well, I did too.

I like to think I learned something from all the Winslows of the world. No matter how much the world hurt me, I never wanted to hurt it back. It may have taken me some time to trust, but somehow, love remained my default position. 💕

Dogs have been some of my greatest teachers. They taught me that what happens to you doesn’t have to become what you give back.

I’m so grateful I dedicated my life to serving them. 🖤

Especially the ones the world forgets.

Here’s to the people who make this country great our families, neighbors, small businesses, first responders, military members, and the communities we’re lucky enough to serve.

Are we perfect? Nope. We’ve all got some room for improvement… and that includes pretty much every institution ever created. 😅

But today isn’t about agreeing on everything. It’s about good food, good company, grateful hearts, and reminding our dogs that the sky is not, in fact, falling. 🎆🐶
