ADOPT TROUBLE! 🖤
Remember this quirky, curious boy? Remarkably, Trouble is still available for adoption!

Trouble is living it up with his foster human and feline foster siblings! Says his foster 😸 Mimi Fosters, “He loves vigorous face rubs and pets, he’s so chill whenever he’s handled, even when being picked up in any position. He’s full of life and plays well with my cat, he’s incredibly talkative and uses his paws a lot to communicate his needs.” 🐾

Trouble has recently discovered the joys of bedtime! As soon as he notices that his human is heading to bed, he gets super excited, jumps on the bed bed, and has a 10 minute long purring, headbutt (his headbutts have some force behind them!), cuddle session. Afterwards, he falls asleep right next to you 😻💤

Don’t let his name fool you – Trouble is a sweet, silly, affectionate boy that would adore a loving home of his own!

Yesterday, a community member reached out about a family of wee kittens she’d unexpectedly fished out of a car engine in the parking lot of her apartment building here in . The rescuer didn’t feel comfortable leaving the kittens outside for mama due to generally unsafe conditions in the area, but the babies needed their mama so we stepped in to help.

In case you’re wondering why there is a carrier in the movie, it’s because the kittens were inside it, as “bait” to trap mama (that’s a legit trapping technique for the uninitiated!) but truthfully it was the food that attracted her. Poor babe was so hungry. Caring for 4 kittens without proper sustenance is so hard. She’s safe inside with her beautiful babies now and will eat like the queen she is.

Trapping was the easy part. The real work starts now and will continue for at least 3 months. This little family’s care entails planning their pathway, working closely with fosters, providing all the cats with full medical care including spay-neuter, getting to know them, respecting their relationships and, eventually, finding them homes.

Small, local orgs like Good Home play such an important role in rescue. We are neighbors, invested in the local community. Please support our work. ADOPT MR. LOLO! 🖤
Hello! My name is Mr. Lolo. I came to Good Home when a nice human rescued me from the street. Now I’m getting braver everyday in foster care as I enjoy playtime and the company of my feline foster siblings!

I’m a sweet, sensitive, playful boy. I’m shy at first and need patience to come out of my shell, but once I do I very much enjoy being part of a household. I especially enjoy playtime! I love a wand toy and climbing onto the cat tree to bat at fuzzy balls! I’ll also bring my toys to the human’s bed which is my favorite place to play and to get pats & scratches.

When I’m not playing I enjoy a perch, a window, or hanging out with my feline foster siblings. It takes me a little time to feel comfortable, but when I do, I enjoy being near my humans but not on them. I’m not a lap cat but enjoy attention!

I would be happiest in a quiet to moderately active home with thoughtful humans and a cat friend. I do not do well with dogs. I am good with kids, so long as they are gentle with me. I very much need a cat friend to be happy, and would not do well as a single cat. I love when my people are home and could make a great work-from-home buddy! I’m a gentle, inquisitive, playful boy who would be a bright and cheery addition to any home. Could that home be yours?
