Meet Humphrey! He’s a 5 year old mixed breed pup available for adoption at 🐾
Tally’s Ranch and Party Farms teamed up to take Humphrey on a Doggy Day Out and here’s what we learned:

Humphrey’s an A+ car rider! He sits down almost immediately and chills. He’s high energy, but also settles quickly once he gets his wiggles out. He loves walking next to trees/structures, so he would be an amazing hiking/adventure buddy. He is highly treat-motivated & a quick learner. Overall, he is such an amazing boy and will make the best buddy for whoever adopts him!

Humphrey is available for adoption at Pitt County Animal Services. His adoption fee is $135 and includes up-to-date vaccines, microchip, and neuter. He is heartworm positive and is looking for an adopter who can manage his recovery. We just went through this with our dog Luke last year so I’m happy to share our experience.

If you’re ready to give this precious guy the loving home he deserves, please call 252-902-1725. Adoption hours are Monday–Friday from 1 PM to 4 PM.

It’s Dog Anxiety Awareness Week 🤍 Anxiety in dogs is more common than we think... and it doesn’t always look obvious.

Signs can include panting, pacing, excessive barking, trembling, hiding, or destructive behavior. Triggers can be anything from separation and loud noises to changes in environment or aging.

This week is about paying attention. They’re not “misbehaving”—they’re overwhelmed.

Simple things like consistent routines, daily movement, mental stimulation, and safe, predictable environments can make a big difference. And when needed, don’t hesitate to consult your vet.

Sharing Titus’ story in hopes it helps someone recognize the signs sooner 🐾🤎
