🚨💔 EMERGENCY RESCUE FUNDRAISER: A MOM, A DAD, AND FOUR BABIES ARE FIGHTING TO SURVIVE OUTSIDE 💔🚨

Hidden behind buildings, sleeping under bushes, trying to stay alive one day at a time, is a tiny family that should never have to live this way. A devoted momma cat, a protective pappa cat, and their four fragile babies, only about one month old.

Every night they sleep outside wondering if they will make it to morning. Every day brings new dangers: speeding cars, predators, cruel people, sickness, starvation, and the brutal reality that one tragedy could wipe out this entire family in an instant.

The kittens are still babies. They should be curled up in a warm bed, safe in a loving home. Instead, they are growing up in fear, exposed to the elements, relying on their exhausted mother to somehow keep them alive.

And momma is trying. She's doing everything she can to protect her babies, but love alone cannot shield them from the dangers of life on the streets.

We know what happens to so many kittens born outside. They disappear. They get sick. They are injured. Many never make it to adulthood.
We are stepping in to save this entire family before it's too late, but rescuing six cats at once is a huge financial burden for our small volunteer-run rescue. They will all need veterinary care, testing, vaccinations, food, supplies, foster care, and spay/neuter surgeries.

Right now, we are already struggling under overwhelming medical debt from the many cats already in our care, but how do you walk away from four innocent babies and their parents when you know they need help?

UPDATE: GRACIE ❤️‍🩹😻🙏🐈

Watching Gracie play and learn how to walk with one less paw has been one of the most emotional and inspiring journeys for us. 💕 Every tiny step she takes reminds us just how strong, brave, and resilient she truly is. Despite everything she’s been through, Gracie still chooses love, playtime, and happiness every single day. She is adjusting more and more each day and proving that disabilities do not define a cat’s spirit or ability to live a beautiful life. We are so proud of our little warrior girl.

🔥🌡️ HEATWAVE WARNING FOR CAT OWNERS 🌡️🔥

Cats can suffer from heatstroke faster than many people realize — especially kittens, senior cats, overweight cats, and outdoor/community cats. During extreme heat, it’s so important to keep your cats hydrated, cool, and safe indoors whenever possible. Always provide multiple bowls of fresh water, shaded areas, airflow, fans or AC, and NEVER leave a cat in a hot car, garage, or enclosed room. Even a few minutes can become deadly.💔

Please watch closely for signs of overheating such as panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, hot ears, lethargy, or collapse. Heatstroke is a medical emergency and requires immediate veterinary care. Community cats need help too — leaving fresh water and shaded shelters outside can save lives during dangerous temperatures. ☀️🐾

🚨💔 EMERGENCY FOR ROME 💔🚨

We are absolutely heartbroken writing this.
This is Rome. A sweet, loving little boy we rescued months ago who just turned 1 year old this month… and instead of celebrating his first birthday like every kitten deserves, Rome needs medical care.💔🐾
Over the last few weeks, Rome began developing severe skin issues. He scratches himself until his skin literally opens into painful wounds. Right now Rome has TWO large open wounds on his back.

This weekend alone we rushed Rome to VEG Animal Hospital TWICE back-to-back in just 2 days. The first night we stayed there all night into the early morning trying to help him, only to end up back there again the very next day because he removed his cone & his bandages. Watching him suffer while still trying to purr, love us, play and rub against us completely shattered us emotionally.

Now Rome urgently needs advanced medical care. He will be transferred to AMC Hospital in Manhattan where he may need to stay for several days. He will need specialists including an internist and dermatologist to figure out what is causing this devastating skin disorder and hopefully create a treatment plan that can SAVE HIS LIFE. We are praying for answers. We are praying for a cure. 🙏

To know Rome is to absolutely fall in love with him. He is one of the sweetest boys you could ever meet. Gentle. Affectionate. Playful. Full of life. He adores humans and other cats and still wants to cuddle and play despite everything he is going through. He deserves a chance to live. He deserves a chance to heal. While at the hospital he wanted to eat churo and play a baby who still has so much love and life left in him. We simply cannot give up on Rome. We will not give up on him.
But we desperately need help. Rescues like this emotionally break us. How do you look into Rome’s eyes and walk away from him? How do you tell him he doesn’t deserve a chance because treatment costs too much?💔

🚨 Please remember… if you see a female cat outside searching for food or water, there’s a very good chance she may be a nursing momma trying to survive while caring for hidden babies nearby. 💔🐾🍼

Before removing her from the area, please observe from a distance and check if she may be nursing. Her kittens could be hiding under porches, bushes, sheds, garages, cars, or in small hidden spaces waiting for their mom to return. If she disappears, those babies can sadly die alone without her.

If you are able to help, the best thing you can do is provide food, fresh water, and if possible a safe temporary space like a bathroom, spare room, or quiet corner for mom and babies together until rescue help can be arranged. Keeping the family together saves lives. 🙏

Kitten season is overwhelming rescues everywhere, and compassionate people like YOU make all the difference. Thank you for caring about community cats and their babies. 🩷🐈

🚨 We are desperately seeking 2 fosters for 2 young friendly cats that were recently dumped and now have nowhere safe to go. 💔🐈🐈 These sweet babies only need a temporary place to crash for approximately 2–4 weeks while we work on finding long-term solutions for them.

We didn’t say no to rescuing them… but we also couldn’t fully say yes because our rescue is already way above capacity. Kitten season has completely overwhelmed rescues everywhere, and without fosters, so many cats are left with nowhere to turn.
If you can open your heart and home temporarily, you can literally save lives. Please fill out a foster application and help us give these babies a safe place to stay. 🙏💕
