Pet Loss Light Offering services to help people when their pets have a terminal illness or have passed away with counseling, hospice, reiki and additional support.

Pet Loss Light specializes in helping pets and their human companions when they are in a place of transition at the end of their lives and beyond. We understand that each relationship that a person has with their pet is unique and we will work with our clients in the way that provides the most caring compassion and assistance needed. The services we offer include pet loss counseling and guidance,

home visits to assist with medical care, pet reiki, funeral and creamation planning and assistance, euthanasia support, memorial service planning, and support groups when requested. We also offer programs for busy verterinary hospitals and provide siminars on compassion fatigue, workplace burnout and help with client interactions. We also offer private one-on-one counseling sessions to staff members who may be in need. We currently do not accept insurance, but can work with all budgets. We want to assure that while this is a difficult time for you and your pet, it is also a time to learn to open your heart to more love, light and gratitude which allows your pets the ability to transition in the most peaceful and uplifting way possible.

We know it's a scary time in the world for people, and it's so nice to have our pets around us to keep us comforted while we are all at home. But when it comes to your pets health during COVID-19, veterinarians are really going above and beyond to make sure they are treating their patients and their human companions with extra love and care. It's especially upsetting to think of having to euthanize a beloved pet right now with social distancing. Many vets are making exceptions to this rule and getting creative so that people can be with their pets when they cross over. What are your own vets doing to help you during the pandemic? Sending love and light to all of you during this difficult time.

Veterinarians are still open across the state, but on an emergency basis, or for procedures or giving vaccines like rabies that can't wait. We agree with this 100%. People shouldn't feel badly for mourning their pet more than family members and friends who pass. We sometimes have a deeper connection with our animals due to the fact that they provide us with unconditional love and we see them every day of our lives.

I didn’t just lose a tiny, seven-pound chihuahua. I lost a family member.
