My of my collection is monitors, and I have my personal reasons. Some of you are close friends of mine and I’ve explained what I’m drawn to, and what energizes me to keep learning about them 36 years and going. Franz Werner, a German herpetologist once said monitor lizards are the “proudest, best-proportioned, mightiest, and most intelligent” and I could not agree more. Once you get your first monitor or your 50th, they demand your attention, force you to learn when you made mistakes and can become incredibly tolerant of their human keeper. That being said, do you like today’s photos and do you wanna see more?
