As flowers bloom, so do risks for our pets, with plenty of opportunity for them to breathe in particles, scratch an eye, poke a paw, or even get snagged by a branch or thorn, all of which could potentially lead to infections.

Infections can be sneaky subtle—If your pet is not acting right and you are not sure what it is, get them checked! Like with most conditions, the sooner we treat an infection, the better your pet will feel.

POV: The schedule is packed, the phones won’t stop ringing, a patient just had diarrhea in the lobby, the lab machine is acting suspicious, and someone is asking if we can squeeze in one more appointment before closing…

Vet Med Team:
“We’ll get it done somehow.”

🐾 Running on caffeine, teamwork, and pure determination.
❤️ Because our patients are counting on us.
🤣 And somehow, against all odds, we always make it work.

🍔 A burger… made their way 🐾
Today is National Hamburger Day, but your pet doesn’t need the drive-thru version to feel included.

In fact, many classic burger ingredients—like onions, garlic, and heavy seasoning—can upset their stomach (or worse). The good news? You can still treat them—just a little differently. Think:
🥩 Plain, lean protein
🥕 Pet-safe veggies
🚫 No added salt, spices, or toppings

Because the best treats aren’t the ones we share…they’re the ones we choose with them in mind. ❤️
If you’re ever unsure what’s safe, we’re always here to help!

Semi-annual exams are so important for pets on chronic medications 🩺💙

These visits help us monitor how your pet is responding to their medication, check for any side effects, and make sure dosages are still appropriate as they age and change. During these exams, we also evaluate weight, vital signs, mobility, organ function, and overall quality of life — because so much can change in just 6 months.

Routine bloodwork and diagnostics allow us to catch concerns early and keep your pet feeling their best for as long as possible 🐾✨

Keeping up with semi-annual exams = safer long-term medication management and better overall health for your furry family member.
