Yesterday, the team had to say goodbye to one of our senior house cats, Speedy, after discovering severe metastatic cancer of his bladder, bowel and pancreas. Often found at the frontdesk, assisting in checking in patients and greeting clients, the clinic already feels empty.

Speedy came to us in January of 2025- pulled from the city shelter by Bunny Hofberg through - emaciated and in need of critical care. Our team provided the crucial medical care he needed and before we knew it, he was thriving; gaining weight, begging for treats and wrapping around our hearts.

We will miss him everyday but feel so lucky he found his way to us (last pic is his shelter pic just before we took over his care)

Rest easy, sweet boy. And thank you, Bunny, for bringing him into our lives. ♥️🕊️🌈🐾

Attention clients- due to the blizzard conditions in NYC and for the safety of our clients and staff, BVC will be closed today, Monday 2/23/26. We plan on having normal operating hours tomorrow 2/24/26, but will reach out if that changes.

Attention clients- due to the impending blizzard forecasted to hit NYC, BVC will be closing early today 2/22/26 at 2pm and have a delayed 2pm start on Monday.
