As a dog mom and doggy daycare employee, here are the things worth every penny in my opinion! You can also check out the link in our bio to shop our Amazon favourites all in one place!

Enrichment toys: Dogs need physical and mental stimulation to keep them happy and healthy. Puzzles or other thinking toys can be a great way to entertain them and give you a break. Think snuggle mats, kongs, slow feeders, etc.

Enzyme cleaners: Dog p*e is notoriously difficult to clean. It contains uric acid crystals that are tough and need to be broken down to remove them and their smell. This is why you need a cleaner with enzymes that will actually remove the smell instead of just masking it!

Lamp Berger: On the topic of pet odors, it’s important to remove them from the air and not just cover them up. Lamp Bergers effectively neutralize bad odors (like cooking smells, pets, and smoke) through catalytic combustion. A heated ceramic burner pulls in air and breaks down odor causing molecules on a molecular level without an open flame. They’re also budget friendly to refill, as they burn with 99% isopropyl alcohol.

Uber Pet: Anyone that has lived in New York City and has tried to transport their pet via public transit can understand why this is on the list! For the days when you or your pet really can’t deal with the MTA, take the Uber Pet. While not always the most accessible, we’re thankful that the option exists!

A trusted doggy daycare or walking service: Life is hard, and your pup’s needs can be difficult to juggle with living in the big city. That’s why having someone to help you out can improve you and your dog’s quality of life. Take a break when you need it and have peace of mind knowing that your dog is having a good time getting their mental and physical stimulation!
