This picture makes me happy. The big girl is Ladybird a recently adopted Newfoundland-Great Pyrenees cross. One of the concerns was helping Ladybird and her two cat brothers learn to live peacefully in a NYC apartment-a big change from her previous home on a farm. After implementing simple mangement and rewards based training this is the result. 💕

This cute little pup is Bleecker. She is very clever and enjoys learning new behaviors. What a pleasure to work with a puppy who trusts her trainer and is eager to learn!

This beautiful girl is Everly. Being just a puppy, we worked on helping her overcome some fears of walking on busy Brooklyn streets and teaching her basic manners. Her parents did an awesome job of training her under our guidance.

This handsome fella is Rafa a B&T Coonhound. He is learning how to calmly pass by other dogs on walks. Here he is sitting and observing dogs walking close by. Good job Rafa and his parents who work hard on helping their boy be a better adjusted city dog.

Intense Urban Manners Class graduation!!! These wonderful dogs and their humans did so well. Despite the lockdown challenges and us wearing masks (it's harder for dogs to understand us!) we saw a major improvement in all of them. We are so proud of all of you. Great job, everybody!! 👏👏

Loki is about 2 years old and he's is a happy and energetic dog, and he does listen and can apply impulse control. This is a typical dog whose energy can become an issue, but proper exercise, enrichment, and positive training will help him stay focused. After only 2 lessons he's learned quite a lot.

Adorable Bailey, a 6 year old lab/boxer/pit mix from just completed her 3 lesson training package. She was a bit too enthusiastic meeting people and quite reactive to dogs on the street. She is now much better, looks at dogs walking by without barking and improving her greeting manners. Great job Bailey and dad!
Dogs can make choices, it's up to us to teach them.
