The scoop on Ghost? His family moved and, sadly, they weren’t able to take him with them. 💔 Honestly, we don’t know why and we’re not going to dwell on the past.

Little Simba has one of the saddest stories we’ve ever shared.

He was found abandoned with his sister in a desolate area. He was rescued and eventually adopted into what we hoped would be his forever home. Tragically, his adopter passed away in her sleep, and Simba was found faithfully lying beside her—loyal until the very end.

Just three days ago, we thought he’d found his second chance. Sadly, it wasn’t the right match. Through no fault of Simba’s, he’s once again looking for somewhere to belong.

Simba is a total love bug—but on his timeline. He’ll come to you when he feels safe. All he needs is patience, understanding, and someone willing to let him trust again.

🏡 We’re looking for a foster or forever home. We think Simba would thrive in a quiet home with someone who works from home or is retired, with adults only or older children.
