SPOT-ON K9 TRAINING DROP-IN GROUP CLASS – 10/08/23

Thanks to all my incredible clients attending the Free Drop-In Group Class! We had a fantastic time working on leash-handling skills & drills, confidence-building exercises, games, and obedience training! Everyone worked their dog through multiple challenging exercises and drills that required solid handling skills, awareness, and accountability.

Besides Off-leash E-collar Training, most clients come to SOK9T to stop unwanted and dangerous behaviors. So when you can participate in our group classes, you work your dog around other dogs, most of whom have undergone our training to eliminate either dog or human reactivity or other behavioral issues. And they have gotten to the point where they have stopped the nonsense completely or have learned to exist alongside their triggers. Yes, you may see a hiccup here and there, but over and over, you'll see them making better choices.

The success you see is a testament to the owner's hard work and the commitment to the training they have made so their dogs will have a much happier life.

BALL OBSESSED, BOBBI

Bobbi used to run like the wind off-leash, having the time of her life. However, her owners noticed her obsession with balls while off-leash. She would resource guard or steal other dogs' balls, which sparked multiple fights.

By the end of her training, Bobbi's life has dramatically improved, and her owners can now breathe easily again when she's running or playing off-leash. It's fantastic to see her enjoying her freedom and running like before. Her owners have gained new confidence and skills to recall her immediately or prevent unwanted behavior even before it becomes a thing, and she is clearly making much better choices. July 4th started with a quiet ride but off-the-charts excitement for Lexi as we took the subway to Central Park West 59 St area for off-leash hours! Luck has it, it was pretty much an empty car, so she got to ride comfortably on the seats.

Having your dog e-collar trained enables them to break free of the leash and cramped, unsafe dog runs and have them enjoy being a dog! And you don't have to worry about your dog running toward the street, chasing after another dog, a scooter, a squirrel, or some other distraction, because you can absolutely stop your dog or call them back to you. Knowing you've got the training and the confidence to have them return to you immediately is priceless. It's the best gift you can give your dog (and you)!
