WE'VE RECEIVED OUR SECOND PATENT!!!

This one is special as it's the core technology to our p**p bag holder with a gauge. As a small USA company it's very important to us to get these protections to prevent copycats from popping up.

If you ever see another company with a gauge on their p**p bag holder, let us know!

This month, RemieDog donated 10 Metro P**p Bag Dispensers + compostable bags — a $290 value — to Every Last One Rescue here in NYC.

The dispensers will be used by volunteers during their New Hope Boroughbreaks, where shelter dogs get a day outside of the kennel to decompress, explore the city, and show more of their true personalities.

Those outings can make a real difference. The photos, videos, and observations volunteers bring back can help dogs get a second look, lower behavior ratings, and ultimately find rescue placement and homes.

We’re proud that something we designed for everyday NYC dog walks can help make these days a little easier for the volunteers doing this work — and a little better for the dogs alongside them.

Thank you to the Every Last One Rescue team and its volunteers for the work you do.

3 years of RemieDog compostable p**p bags. And hopefully, we're just getting started.

We started RemieDog in NYC because we thought one of the most basic parts of owning a dog could be done better.

For the past three years, we've been making certified compostable p**p bags and designing products that make it easier for New Yorkers to actually have a bag when they need one.

Now, NYC is considering the SCOOP Act — including legislation that would put dog waste bag dispensers on public litter baskets across the city and another proposal that specifically calls for compostable dog waste bags as part of a dog-run composting pilot.

That's a future we'd really like to be part of.

RemieDog is a small NYC company. We design our products here, walk our dogs here, and have spent years thinking about how better bag access could work in the real world.

So we're asking our NYC dog community for a little help.

If you'd like to see RemieDog involved as NYC explores public dog bag dispensers and composting, share this post and tag the people behind the SCOOP Act in the comments:

We'd love the opportunity to show NYC what a homegrown dog company can contribute.

We designed it. They put it to the test.

Dog Gear Review recently included the Sutton Slide Leash in their comparison of the Best Hands-Free Dog Leashes.

What we especially liked about their review is that they actually used the leash and called out the details that make the Sutton Slide different — including our RemieLock mechanism, which lets you adjust the leash one-handed without rethreading it.

After testing it with a 30 lb dog, they also noted that they never had an issue with the lock sliding under leash pressure.

Independent feedback like this means a lot to a small product company.

Apparently we weren’t done yet.

On the heels of yesterday’s announcement, we’re excited to share that the Sutton Slide Leash has also been named the 2026 Adjustable Leash Product of the Year by the Pet Innovation Awards.

Three different design and industry recognitions for a product we spent years developing, prototyping, testing, and refining.

We set out to make a leash that worked differently because we thought dog owners deserved something better. It’s pretty incredible to see that idea continue to get recognized.

Thank you to everyone who has supported RemieDog along the way — and especially everyone out there walking their dog with a Sutton Slide.

That makes three.
