URGENT- LONG TERM FOSTER OR FOREVER-HOME NEEDED for A VERY AFFECTIONATE KITTY!
"Well, Hello there! I'm Moustachio (although inspired by my 'stache I've also been given the monikers of Teddy (Roosevelt), Nietzsche, Marcel (Proust), Mark (Twain) et al. (Or even Mooshoo or Moshe). Saying Meow once again on the last day of this month of
I got local Brooklyn resident - guitarist Alex Skolnick to post about me - which you can view on his IG here....Click this link with volume up for laughs.

Despite all the attention I still have to find a 😿
I'm VERY affectionate and enjoy nothing better than cuddling with my hooman, hugging my hooman when sleeping, and love being pet, scratched, held and cuddled. I'm very sweet and mellow but also dashing, debonair, vetted, vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV Negative, and a VERY gentle fellow around humans. My favorite activities are sleeping, cuddling, hugging, being brushed and eating. I'm a fastidious groomer and am quite clean with the use of the litter box. For the other points- I'll let the hooman continue."
Moustachio is looking for his forever-home. Or at most a long term foster. This fellow is very very special and truly adorable.
He will be best as an only cat though he's quite fine (& cute) with small kittens and calm females or smaller males but not with other adult alpha males. He doesn't pick up cat fights and neither attacks, but just hisses and doesn't warm up to other big adult males.
He should be still fine with most after an introductory period. (His prior foster was a film student who had to travel after graduation and couldn't keep him anymore. ) Mosh is currently located in Park Slope.
Moustachio was rescued at around 8 years old after a sad, hard life on the mean streets where he may have survived only by eating scraps and experienced starvation and cold. So now to stay in good health, a freeze-dried diet has suited him very well so far (we have the specifics of the brand and diet.) He will want to eat typical cat food, but to keep him well, freeze dried is the best.
Despite his hard former life, he's incredibly trusting, well-mannered and sweet. He is very clean and tidy and is good with the use of his litter box. He will barf out occasional hairballs (like most cats). His tests didn't show anything abnormal.
Moustachio has a LOT of love and snuggles to give. He likes human contact so much he'll also be GREAT fit for a WFH situation or retiree. But even when lonely he doesn't yowl, scratch or act out. He's quite the gentleman.
Those interested in this dashing fellow please DM me here, comment or text me at 646 504 9699 or email [email protected]
House must be secure. Moustachio doesn't like travelling much, so no very long distance car trips with him in a carrier (if the trips exceed an hour) unless he has his own cage with litter box, not just a carrier.
He's just such a fine fellow with a unique look! He deserves his own IG account! 😸
But more than that a to call his own.
Check out his pics below. He could've been the mascot for
