Meet Angel - a charming orange tabby with a stunning tiger-striped tail and an even sweeter personality. 👼 Angel is the perfect balance of playful and relaxed, with a mellow 4/10 energy level that makes him easy to live with. 🥰 He’s a true lap cat who loves curling up on the couch to watch TV with you, happily soaking up attention and companionship. 📺

Angel entertains himself just as well as he plays with others. He enjoys puzzle toys on his own, but lights up when it’s time for wand toys or chasing spring toys around the apartment. 🪄 🐁 He’s especially impressive when he leaps high into the air trying to catch his prey; his vertical jump is seriously something to see!

Still looking for a Valentine?! 💘 Melo is an awesome, loving boy who’s full of playful energy! Wand toys, balls, springs — they’re all fair game. He can be a little shy at first with new people, but once he warms up, he’s a total sweetheart who loves head rubs and scritches on his cheeks, chin, and chest. 🥰

Melo is very well-behaved — he uses his scratcher and post like a pro — and he’s happy to hang out beside you when you’re relaxing. He has a soft spot for fleece blankets and a good sprinkle of catnip! 🌿

Melo would do best in a calm home with adults or older kids, as little ones might be a bit too much for him. He’s never lived with other animals, so he’d be happiest as your one-and-only furry friend. 🐱

HAPPILY HOMED FRIDAY!! 🏠
Xander is a gorgeous medium-haired orange boy found roaming on the streets of the lower east side last fall. When he first arrived at our PetSmart adoption center, he was a little shy, but he soon came out of his shell and showed everyone his sweet and loving personality. He was adopted shortly before last Thanksgiving and his new mom gave us the following update:

“I renamed Xander to Banana (I thought it fit him a bit better :), and he is so silly and warm I really think it suits him!! ). I have loved having him, and he is such a playful little explorer.

He immediately transitioned to the new space and went full explorer mode, and seems completely fearless (with the only exception of hating my vacuum cleaner lol)! He has slowly warmed up and gotten cuddlier, and through many play sessions & cuddles on the couch, now frequently rubs up against me and asks for pets & has even started to sleep some of the night in bed with me!

Although he is not a lap cat, he loves to constantly be by my side, which has been really nice on work from home days when we can chill together. He is just the sweetest, silliest little guy, and has charmed all of my friends and family who have been to visit and meet him.

He enjoys being picked up, purrs loudly all the time, and has become very chatty & meows and to greet me whenever I get home for work, or any outing. I have loved having him and just adore learning these new things about him!!!”
