64 lives changed in one single day. 🙏🏻🐕❤️

Today in Dumbrăvești, Romania, our team spayed and neutered 64 dogs.

Why does this matter so much? One unspayed female can have up to 16 puppies a year – and many of those puppies are born on the street into hunger, cold, disease and cruelty. Most never make it to their first birthday.

Every spay today means fewer puppies born into suffering, fewer dogs on the streets, and a healthier, calmer life for the dogs already there. This is how real, lasting change happens – not one rescue at a time, but by stopping the cycle at its source. 💪🏻

To every single donor who made this day possible: THANK YOU. ❤️ You didn’t just fund 64 surgeries – you prevented hundreds of puppies from being born into a life of suffering. This is YOUR impact.

Want to help us keep going? Every donation funds the next spay day. 🔗 Link in bio

Bobby has a family waiting in France, but he cannot travel yet.

Bobby is an 11 kg black dog, around 7 to 8 years old, found next to the train station in Romania where Limpy stayed. All the other dogs disappeared from that dangerous spot and were taken to a public shelter where dogs are scheduled to be euthanised. He is sweet and gentle with everyone, and he already has an adoption request waiting in France, but he tested positive for heartworms.

Now he is safe, fed, and resting at Dog Rose.

Preparing Bobby for his new home takes blood tests, heartworm injections, veterinary monitoring, neutering surgery, and nourishing food.

Comment BOBBY to help fund his heartworm treatment.

A dog cannot survive on the streets with a broken leg.

He was found in Romania with a severe break and brought to safety before he could end up in a public shelter where injured dogs are scheduled to be euthanised. We took him into our care at Dog Rose to get him to the vet and see if his leg can be saved.

Now he is safe, fed, and resting.

Giving him a chance to walk again takes x-rays, orthopedic surgery, pain relief, bandage changes, and nourishing food.

Comment HEAL to help support his care.

She led us straight to her babies.

A mother dog was found near our village in Romania. When we reached her, she did not run. She turned around and walked us to where her newborn puppies were hidden. The nights are getting colder now, and for puppies this small, the cold is not something they survive.

Now mum and her babies are safe, fed, and warm at Dog Rose.

Looking after a nursing mother and newborn puppies takes puppy food, nourishing meals for mum, warm bedding, vet checks, and deworming.

3 boys taken from a public shelter right before being put to sleep. ❤️

Two of them are seniors. The light in their eyes and gratefulness is so heartwarming, knowing they are safe with us.

We need $50 to cover their vaccines and deworming.

Comment CARE to donate their $50 vet care. Their time is not now.

Tessa was brought to us with her puppies. 💖

Tessa is around 3 years old and only 6 kg, she is a very cheerful and gentle mama who took such good care of her little ones. Her puppy Tuka is already adopted, but Tessa and her boys are still waiting for their forever homes.

Her boys are sweet, friendly little boys who will stay small like their mom. They are great with cats, dogs, and children, and will be ready to travel in October at 3 months old.

Both Tessa and her boys are wonderful with other animals and people, and both are suitable for an apartment or a house in the city or countryside.

Comment ADOPT to bring Tessa or one of her boyshome.
