As of today, May 24,2026, Derek Samuel is still missing.
Derek was last seen on surveillance on April 29 walking away from Target in East Point, Georgia (Camp Creek Marketplace). He had been there with two friends, Korde, who drove off, and Des, who caught an Uber. Derek's family has seen unreleased footage of him leaving the Target alone, walking towards Redwine Road. What we don’t know is what happened after that.

There were two phone pings in the wooded area behind The Reserve apartments on Redwine. The second ping was on May 16 around 1:00 pm. A friend even reports that Derek’s phone rang around that time but shortly stopped and was turned back off. Nobody has seen Derek, and his friends have been on livestream for the past week, pointing the finger at each other.

His family has conducted multiple searches, but sadly, Derek has not been located, and it has been going on a month since he’s been missing.
