A walk through Central Park, Ella’s choice of seats and a little company as the sun goes down. 🐾

One-on-one dog care with CityWags. Time to explore, room to relax and someone there with them.

Does your dog also think they’re a lap dog whatever their size?

A very busy Sunday apparently. 🐾
Walk. Sniff. Explore. Recharge. Repeat.

What does your dog’s perfect NYC Sunday look like?

POV: you take a CityWags pup to the The AKC Museum Of The Dog and she realizes Molly the virtual dog training is VERY real. 😂🐾

Kaia met Molly, studied the assignment, chased the action and gave Puppy Training 101 her full attention.

By the end? She had nothing left. 😂

Just another CityWags adventure in NYC.

Some dogs go for walks. Ours go out.

If you haven’t visited Museum of the Dog AKC. Highly recommend! 💜 CityWags

🚨 NYC EXTREME HEAT & AIR QUALITY ALERT 🚨

Your dog depends on you to recognize the danger before they can.

For the next several days even a normal walk can become a medical emergency. Hot pavement, extreme humidity and poor air quality increase the risk of heat exhaustion and heat stroke much faster than many people realize.

A few simple changes can make all the difference:

🐾 Keep potty breaks short and frequent.
💧 Always bring fresh water.
🌡️ Test the pavement with the back of your hand for 7 seconds.
🏠 Save longer walks, runs and playtime for early morning or late evening.
🧩 Keep your dog mentally stimulated indoors with enrichment games, frozen treats, training sessions and scent work.

Watch closely for:

• Excessive panting
• Drooling
• Bright red gums
• Weakness or stumbling
• Vomiting or collapse

If you notice these signs, move your dog into air conditioning immediately, offer cool (not ice-cold) water and contact your veterinarian or the nearest emergency veterinary hospital right away.

If you’re unsure whether something is normal, send us a message. We’d much rather answer a simple question than have someone wait too long. No judgment - just help.

Please share this with every dog owner you know. It could help protect a dog when they need it most. ❤️

Every rescue story starts differently.

Some begin in a shelter.
Some begin with a foster.
Some begin with a family willing to take a chance.

But the best ones all end the same way:

A dog finds a home.
A family finds a best friend.
And somehow everyone ends up a little happier.

Congratulations to Sarah, Susan & Josh on adopting Barnababy. ❤️

New family.
New adventures.
New name coming soon… 👀

Welcome home, little buddy.

🌈 Happy Pride Month from CityWags 🌈

One of the best parts of caring for dogs across New York City is getting to meet people from every background, every neighborhood, every walk of life and every story.

The funny thing is the dogs never seem to notice the differences.

They don’t care who you love, where you came from, what you do for a living or how you identify.

They care that you showed up.

That you’re kind.
That you threw the ball one more time.
That you stayed a little longer for belly rubs.

In a city filled with millions of people dogs have a simple way of reminding us what matters most - love, loyalty, acceptance and connection.

Today and every day we’re grateful for the incredible community of humans and dogs that make NYC such a special place to call home.

Happy Pride Month. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Xox,

Adam & the CityWags Team
