It’s been 5 months since we pulled Keiko off the euthanasia list at NYACC and still no interest in this sweet and friendly girl!

Most people want a dog that’s well behaved and she checks all the boxes!

If you advocated for her to be saved, you should also advocate for her to be adopted!

❤️Urgent Foster Needed Today, Thursday July 30th.🐶

Some of you may remember our sweet Santi, who was once on the at-risk list at NYCACC due to medical issues that have since been adressed. Thanks to her incredible foster, we were able to save her just in time and give her the fresh start she deserved.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen family circumstances, Santis foster can no longer foster Santi, leaving this special girl in need of a new foster home.

Our biggest hope is to keep Santi out of boarding. She's come such a long way, and after all the progress she's made, she deserves the comfort of a loving home—not another kennel.

We are endlessly grateful to her foster for opening her heart and home to Santi and giving her the chance to heal.

Cali learning sit pretty 🤩

She’s a smart cookie and is still looking for her forever home! But in the meantime, we need a foster take over for her.

She’s a 1 1/2 yr spayed medium mix who loves dogs, well trained, comfortable with familiar people, and loves attention!

We needs a long term foster take over for Santi, a former QACC senior. Her current foster has an unfortunate family emergency and can no longer help foster her.

Santi was featured in the Dodo several months ago. She has a T-3 spinal cord injury which we are working with AMC to help improve her mobility.

Please message me in the comments if you can commit to fostering her long term.

8 yrs old 60lbs, spayed female senior dog

Behavior assessment-
-Social with people
-crate trained
- has minimal separation anxiety that last no more than 10 minutes and improving with training
- curious of other dogs but we haven’t worked on introducing her to other dogs yet
- knows basic commands and engagement training

We need a temp foster for Santi from June 16th-June 30th.

She’s a sweet 7 yr old senior pup that we pulled from the NYACC At-Risk List back on April 23rd.

She has a T3 spinal injury which we are waiting for AMC Rehabilitation meeting in July. She walks with a wobble but otherwise a healthy girl!

She is crate-trained, good on walks, knows her basic commands, loves people, and loves her treats!

If you can help us foster or share with a friend that has foster experience, Santi will thank you with lots of kisses!

Toweling off a dog after a refreshing cool down can be challenging for people. The best advice is to remain calm and assertive. Let the pup make the right decision like Keiko does here 😁🐶

Having your dog license not only is the law but also helps the city receive funding to help out our local shelters and create more programs for low-income dog owners.

We will be here from 12pm-3pm with the NYCDOH to assist in getting your dog licensed and become an official New Yorker!

After more than 150 days in the shelter, this sweet pittie was placed on the euthanasia list, until one post reached a celebrity who refused to let her story end that way.

Can you believe this sweet girl was surrendered by her owners?

Lucy is a 2yr old spayed 60lb mix breed pup.

She is highly social with people, dogs, and kids. This pup is so loving and friendly.

It’s sad her owners gave up such a good dog. Let’s help her find someone that’s willing to appreciate such a sweet angel!
