🔴😱 Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburgh spoke about his religious views on the relative value of Jewish and non-Jewish lives.
During the interview, he posed a hypothetical question regarding taking the liver of an innocent non-Jew in order to save the life of a Jew, stating that the Torah would “most likely permit” such an action.
He also argued that the life of a Jew has a special spiritual status.
The statement caused significant controversy and should be understood in the full context of the 1996 interview, not as evidence that any actual organ harvesting ever took place.
