If you know me at all you know this is a HUGE DEAL. Got to meet an incredibly influential person to both me personally and animal welfare as a whole. Hannah Shaw (Hannah Shaw ║ KITTEN LADY👸🏼🍼🐱) has dedicated her career to saving the most fragile little lives and came all the way to Naples to teach US(!!!) about how to successfully— and more confidently— take care of neonates. Orphan Kitten Club not only saves thousands of lives in it of itself, but provides grants to shelters, funds crucial research, and educates across the country. I’ve been following Hannah Shaw for close to a decade now (as early as my PetSmart days) and I am so thankful that my organization dedicated resources to have the staff and community learn. We are going to save so many lives because of this!

My first foster!! Porky Pig, who we called Paco, was last of his litter to go home. I couldn’t leave him in the shelter overnight, I felt too sad for him all alone, so he came home with me, spent each (4) night with me, then came back to work to be on the adoption floor. His social media post found him an incredible home and he is already so so loved. I’ll miss him, and I was terribly emotional about it, but so excited to do it all over again. Is that some kind of mental illness? Maybe!

We have FIVE cutie patootie male puppies at PBHS Naples that are somehow being overlooked! They are incredibly unique little dogs. They’ve been microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered and are ready for their homes! I can’t believe they haven’t been scooped up yet!
