At three weeks of age, we feel comfortable handling the puppies to familiarize them with the human touch. This little guy wasn’t too sure at first. 😳💙🐾

The first two weeks, Mama Jo stimulates excretion by licking the puppy’s bottoms. Developmentally the puppies start pottying on their own, which means more laundry. Here’s a bedding change. 🤎💛🐾

Jo challenges her puppies with various nursing positions. In a few days, when they’re bigger, she will start standing to nurse and build their strong leg muscles. 💪🏻💙🐾
