Emergency Services

Due to the changing nature of small animal medicine and the increased availability of companion animal emergency services closer to home, we have partnered with several emergency clinics to care for your pets after our normal business hours. Below is a list of companion animal emergency clinics that we would recommend. If you have an urgent need during our normal hours, please call the office at 419-492-1900. We will do our best to provide urgent care for those patients that we routinely care for.

We do offer emergency, after-hours services for our production animal / farm animal clients, as they do not have the range of emergency service options elsewhere. We will work to care for those animals covered under a current Veterinary Client Patient Relationship, which means we need to have worked with the farm within the past year. Please call our office at 419-492-1900 and follow the prompts.

The office will be closed starting Friday at noon through Saturday for interior renovations. We will return Monday morning. Farm animal emergency services will still be available for those who normally receive that service. Our apologies for the inconvenience!

Happy Halloween from all of the iterations of Dr. Brian! Our team of technicians and assistants surprised Dr. Brian this morning as all the different versions of himself: Farm Call Dr. Brian, Everyday Flannel Dr. Brian, Horse Vet Dr. Brian, Khaki Friday Dr. Brian, and Surgery Dr. Brian. Not pictured: Ohio State Vet Student Dr. Brian. Note it's Friday, so Dr. Brian is sporting the Khaki Friday apparel!

Tuesday is our last regular day this week, as the office building will be closed to install a new floor the rest of this week. Farm call services are still available for those that usually use this service through the rest of the week. We plan to still take daytime phone calls.
