🎉 Employee of the Month: Ashley! 🎉

Congratulations to Ashley for being voted Employee of the Month by her coworkers!

Ashley consistently goes above and beyond for her team. Time and time again, she steps up to help wherever needed—often without being asked and when others may not be able to. Her coworkers describe her as helpful, dependable, hardworking, and always willing to lend a hand.

One moment that really stood out was last week when Ashley jumped in to help with surgery while the surgery team was running behind, allowing them a chance to finally sit down and eat. That selfless act is just one example of the kind of teammate she is.

Despite being 8.5 months pregnant, Ashley continues to work incredibly hard and give 100% every day. She keeps everyone laughing, brings energy to the workplace, and is always looking for ways to support those around her.

According to the FDA, Listeria monocytogenes was detected in all unopened product samples tested by state laboratories. Several samples also tested positive for Salmonella and Campylobacter jejuni. The testing was initiated following a consumer complaint involving a dog illness.

The expanded recall includes all Raaw Energy dog food products manufactured between July 17, 2025, and December 23, 2025, as well as one lot of Beef and Turkey Medley manufactured on March 31, 2026.

The FDA also reported receiving additional consumer complaints involving illnesses in animals that had consumed the recalled products.

🍄 Mystery mushrooms? Not on our watch! 🍄

When this curious pup decided to sample some unknown mushrooms, his family did the right thing and brought him in right away. Veterinary technician Cierra jumped into action and helped induce vomiting so we could get those potentially toxic mushrooms out before they caused more serious problems.

Thankfully, quick action can make all the difference in cases like these! If you ever catch your pet eating mushrooms, plants, medications, or anything questionable, contact us or an emergency veterinary hospital immediately.
