🚨🐾 WE’RE AT CAPACITY—AND WE URGENTLY NEED NEW FOSTERS! 🐾🚨

Every kennel and cat condo is full. Animals still need our help, but right now, we have nowhere to put them.

Fostering can change that.

When you welcome a shelter pet into your home temporarily, you immediately open a space for another animal in need. You also give your foster a break from the stress of shelter life and help us learn what they’re like in a home—which can make it easier to find their perfect family.

You don’t have to foster forever. Whether you can help for a weekend, a few weeks, or until an animal is adopted, your home can make a lifesaving difference. We’ll work with you to find a foster pet who fits your household and lifestyle, and SEVHS provides the necessary supplies and support.

We urgently need fosters for both dogs and cats. If you have a little extra room in your home and heart, please take the first step today:

🐾 Come to the shelter and fill out a foster application

🎉🐾 A HUGE, HEARTFELT THANK-YOU! 🐾🎉

Everyone here at Southeast Volusia Humane Society is over the moon with gratitude for our friends at Edgewater Eagles #4242 and K S Kare for Animals!

Thanks to your incredible generosity, our shelter received:

🦅 Eagles 4242 Ladies Auxiliary — $6,003
🦅 Eagles 4242 Aerie — $2,000
🐾 K S Kare for Animals — $2,000, generously donated through Steve and Donna Currier

That’s an amazing $10,003 for the animals! ❤️

For at least six years, this wonderful group has shown up for our shelter in a big way. We’re especially grateful to Cheri Mixon, who heads it all up with so much heart and dedication.

A special shout-out to Tom Bice, Ray Mc Vicker, Donna Baker, and Debbie Faulk—and to every amazing member who donated throughout the month and helped make the auction, dinners, and raffle baskets such a success. Every contribution, every hour, and every act of kindness adds up to better days for the animals in our care.

From all of us at SEVHS—and all the dogs and cats whose lives you’ve touched—thank you for being such wonderful friends to our shelter. We appreciate you more than words can say! 🐶🐱💕
