Remember Millie the rescue from a few months ago?

This is Millie today, lizard hunting with the best of them. She ended up needing14 teeth extracted, but this girl is a champ.

What a difference being in a safe, loving environment can make.

My heart swells with joy for this girl who had a rough start to her year. Thankful for our slumber parties… she is the cutest pillow thief πŸ˜‰

Me and our pup, Finnegan, are soaking up a moment of quiet together before the storm. We are enjoying the beautiful reds and pinks of a sunrise that promises rain.

Today is storm prep day for Floridians. We'll be working on that in between doggo walks today.

Thankfully, we aren't supposed to take a direct hit from Helene in our area, but we are supposed to get plenty of rain, something our neighborhood really isn't equipped to handle right now. πŸ€ͺπŸ™ƒ We are officially in a state of emergency though, and anything can happen.

I'm praying for everyone's safety for the next few days.

Just a quick update: This week I'm playing catch up from a few busy weeks full of love. We got the opportunity to see a lot of regulars and even a couple new faces πŸ₯°

Then, last week, Not-So-Little Bug and I were down for the count. πŸ‘Žβ˜  We caught the back to school ick and it landed both of us in bed for nearly a week.

Thankfully, we have some amazing friends and neighbors that came to our rescue with necessities: Gatorade, fresh cut fruit, homemade chicken noodle soup, orange juice, and homemade chicken tortilla soup! We couldn't be more appreciative for everyone's outpouring of kindness, generosity, and understanding.

Thankfully, we are back on our feet this week and ready to see everyone again! πŸ•πŸ•πŸˆπŸΎπŸ•β€πŸ¦Ί We look forward to seeing you soon!

This girl (me) and her growing pre-teen love good food, but when we are on-the-go we don't always get a chance to make a home cooked meal. After Body Meals keeps us on track with tons of healthy options!

Normally, we pick it up from their grab-and-go fridge in NSB, but this week we got delivery... in the rain! Amy, the driver, was super sweet and delivered our haul with the best smile πŸ˜„

Thanks for the hookup, guys! This week's menu looks SO good! πŸ₯°
