Hello Barkfest pack! I’ve never made a post like this before, so here goes nothing!
I’m sure you all recognize Bobby from our Zoomies yard. July 25th 2023 Bobby road up to my gate (long before we had our nice reception building) on his bike humbly asking if we needed any help and citing his experience working with dogs, including a long stretch at Halifax Humane Society. He had recently moved to New Smyrna Beach from Daytona and needed a job that he could ride his bike to from his new place. He loved working at the animal shelter, but no longer had the means of transportation to get there.
Here we are three years later. He has loved all of your dogs with endless compassion. He has rode that bike to work, usually six days a week, every single week for the past three years in rain, heat, hurricane, hail, flooding, and everything else! Not only is he your dog‘s best friend in the play yard, but he is also our on-call handyman, always maintaining and improving the property to make it the best and safest place in town for your pets!
He recently saved up his money for months to purchase a vehicle and get his license, tag, and insurance straight… and it is a dud 😭 I brought it to my mechanic, and the quote to make it safe and drivable was more than the vehicle cost to purchase.
Bobby has been an invaluable part of our team. To show my appreciation and celebrate his three year anniversary, I am looking to purchase a vehicle for him for around $1500.
HERE’S HOW YOU CAN HELP:
I am asking if any of our wonderful clients have a safe and reliable car with no major mechanical issues and working AC, without a ton of miles, for sale for around $1500. If you have a car like this, or know somebody that does, please message this page! And please share with your friends! I am also willing to exchange boarding and Daycare and grooming services in addition to cash to obtain something that is over my $1500 budget.
