Our Paws Of Fame Star for June is BELLA!

Meet Bella…she is a stunning Golden Retriever who is also an angel in disguise…she serves as a Support Dog in an Assisted Living Facility. In looks and by nature Bella is exactly like her name…beautiful!

Bella visits PETS monthly to keep her thick, double coat clean and lush. She needs a regular Deshed Treatment with every bath & brush to remove any excess undercoat and to keep her fur from tangling or getting impacted.

Fun Fact: Her Mom says that “Bella was originally supposed to live at the assisted living facility they work at. However after eating too many treats she could not stay there unsupervised- so now she goes to work with them daily as a therapy dog and has joined their family for the best!”🩷

Drumroll Please...

This month our Paws Of Fame Star is PATCHES!

When our Star is picked each month, I reach out to their pet parents and gather pics and any info about how they came to be part of their family. Patches' Mom wrote me such a sweet response that I’d like to share it here as his intro.

“Patches came into our home February 3, 2024. He is a mini Australian Labradoodle. Born 12/10/23. We had lost our previous dog, Fozzie, to cancer in 2022. It was a profound loss. It still is. Especially for this Mommy. 💔

Patches has white markings throughout his body, hence the name Patches. However, his name is also symbolic. While he certainly isn't a replacement, he has brought so much love and healing to our home. He has helped to patch our broken hearts.

Patches is smart, extremely loving, loves his head rubbed, quite a goof ball, and the best little brother to his human big sister. He either sleeps on his back with all paws in the air or with his head on a pillow, is extremely athletic and can bounce on his tail like Tiger from Winnie the Pooh. When he's not home being a goofball, he's a service dog for his human Dad. We adore our Patchy Bear. He's quite loved in the Kovalchick household and he has us all convinced we are his favorite." ❤️ 🐾🫶
