We are seeking a full time veterinary technician/assistant to fill an immediate opening. This is a mixed animal position, working with a wide range of livestock species and pets. Experience is preferred but not required, as we are willing to train a candidate with the right attitude. Full time employment includes options for health, vision, and dental insurance, 401k matching, PTO, and paid holidays. Association dues, licensing, and CE stipends are available for licensed veterinary technicians.

The crew did a fabulous job power washing our cattle barn last week!🧼🧹🫧 We are so grateful to have techs that are so dedicated to keeping our facilities as clean as possible even in the heat!

Look at this adorable nose!🐷 Dr. HP performed a castration and a inguinal hernia repair on this guy and he did great. An inguinal hernia occurs when abdominal tissue—such as fat or a loop of the small intestine—pushes through a weak spot or tear in the lower abdominal muscles, specifically within the inguinal canal of the groin. It is the most common type of abdominal wall hernia, especially in pigs.

🎶🤠It’s country fest time! New Salem is about to get super busy so please plan for more traffic which can sometimes block our driveway with all the campers checking in. Be safe and stay hydrated as it’s going to be a hot week! 🎸☀️

🎇🎆🧨Reminder next weekend is July 4th! Please plan ahead as we are going to be closed July 3rd to give our staff time with family and friends for the holiday. As always if there is any emergencies please call the clinic phone number 701-843-8020 and leave a message if a vet is not able to answer.

💥💥💥If your animals have issues with loud noises, consult your veterinarian for anti-anxiety medications before the fireworks/ loud noises begin. Medications (like trazodone)can be an effective tool. It is important to discuss these options with your vet well in advance to ensure the dosage is safe and effective.
Also shifting their schedules help. Feed your animals and take them out for their final long walk early, well before the fireworks start at dusk.
