Lesley is in love with the new baby chicks! Lol We currently only have 7 little chicks and plan on getting more once we can get the breeds we are after. If anyone in the Dickinson area has laying chickens and is willing to sell some eggs we can incubate please let me know. There are three breeds we are after, I will post a comment on this that names the breeds. Thanks in advance!

- Maybe even a new topic of the day/week section or horse advice section.

Just for fun I’m thinking of doing a weekly “Ask a Backhaus” post. 😂 Where y’all can post questions you want me to ask Leigh or Rachelle about ranching, raising Thoroughbreds, and just life in general! This will be all in good fun of course but I personally feel like they are two people I know I can always get sound advice from. So we can try it out and see what fun we can have with it. 😂

One other thing I’m thinking about doing is sharing a writing/biography/interest piece about one of the most amazing women I know... Rachelle Backhaus. During the times of COVID I think that we could all learn about strength and faith by taking a few pages out of Rachelle’s life experiences. So I’m going to talk it over with her and see if she is up to allowing me the privilege of sharing a writing or two about her. Would y’all be interested in reading that?
