We service 19 communities in Westchester County including Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Elmsford, Greenburgh, Harrison, Hartsdale, Hastings-on-Hudson, Irvington, Larchmont, Town of Mamaroneck, Village of Mamaroneck, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, Pelham, Pelham Manor, Port Chester, Rye Brook, City of Rye and Tarrytown. How You Can Help:

• Donate funds to help us keep the shelter running
• Join our Foster Care Program and open your
home and heart to a shelter animal in need of TLC
• Become a volunteer and assist with a variety of
much needed jobs at the shelter.
• Donate blankets, towels, canned foods, pet toys, etc.
• Include the Humane Society as a beneficiary

We may not know much about her past (and she’s not telling! ), but we know one thing for sure: STARLIGHT is an absolutely amazing soul!
She’s super social, super affectionate, super fun, and super cute! She’s the kind of cat who can brighten your darkest days, fill your home with love, and be your loyal little shadow through life’s ups and downs.

His family shared these photos with this message:
“Hi! We wanted to give you a quick update on Moose, who was KODY when we adopted him one year ago! Moose is now 1 year and 4 months old and is doing great! He is such a sweet and fun dog who loves his bones, toys, and playing in the backyard. He especially loves when his cousin Buddy comes to visit!

We couldn’t be happier to have Moose in our family and are so grateful we found him! 🐾❤️”

Adopted in September, TOFU was one of three kittens, with MISO (adopted) & RAMEN (available for adoption) born with their little feetsies tangled together by their umbilical cords. Tofu had lost part of his back leg, but it had never slowed him down!

A BIG THANK YOU to Mrs. DiSanto’s 1st Grade Class at Resurrection School in Rye!

We are so grateful that these wonderful students chose HSW as the recipient of their community service project! The class collected a variety of much-needed items for our shelter pets as they wait to find their forever homes.

We are so proud of these amazing students and their teacher, Mrs. DiSanto, for their kindness, generosity, and hard work! A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who contributed and supported this special project. Your thoughtfulness makes a difference in the lives of our furry friends!
