Meet our new residents Hope and Grace. A woman that is involved in Wildlife Rescue discovered four domestic Peking ducks on a lake near her house. She spent weeks trying to rescue them by forming a relationship with two of them that would come just close enough to the shoreline for her to feed them by hand. After incredible determination and persistence, she was able to capture two of the ducks she that a few of her helpers named Hope and grace. We believe the other two were likely taken by a predator. This time of year it is sadly and devastatingly common to find domestic ducks that had been dumped on lakes after they are no longer wanted. Welcome Hope and Grace, we’re glad you found us.
